DAP secretary general Lim Guan Eng (LGE) has been in the spotlight for the past few weeks. However, all that he has received are criticisms, negative feedback and brickbats. LGE should just quit DAP as he is a liability to the party. LGE should just quit from his post as Penang Chief Minister.
LGE failed miserably during the Penang floods
During the Penang floods last week, it was clear that LGE failed to handle the situation well.
LGE was miserable and could not manage the situation well.
Various quarters have lambasted him for the floods.
The floods were largely due to rampant uncontrollable hillslope development.
All this development was approved by LGE as Penang chief minister.
In his weekly column on October 12, New Straits Times group managing editor Datuk Abdul Jalil Hamid said
during the aftermath of the floods, it was clear that there were a lot of poor people.
LGE did not help the poor people that much.
LGE should just quit.
LGE also failed to accept responsibility over the Tanjung Bungah landslide
Penang UMNO Youth chief Rafizal Abd Rahim said LGE should resign and accept responsibility over the
Tanjung Bungah landslide which killed 11 workers.
LGE should accept responsibility as many quarters have advised him not to approve the hillside development.
This is what happens when the state is only concerned with making money and not taking care of the people’s
LGE is involved in a corruption case
It is time that LGE quit the party as he is involved with a corruption case.
This involved his bungalow lot in Penang.
Anybody who is involved in a corruption case, should not be involved in any political party at all.
The person should quit and resign.
So LGE should just resign.
Some do not like the PPBM-DAP partnership
It is clear that many do not like the partnership between Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia and DAP.
Malay support for DAP began to crumble the moment DAP worked together with former Prime Minister Tun
Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Not only that, Chinese support for DAP also weakened.
MCA President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said DAP is abandoning its principles the minute it worked
together with Tun Mahathir.
This is poor leadership and LGE should just quit.
LGE’s DAP is not democratic at all
LGE and his father DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang have been treating the party like it belongs to them.
Both of them are not democratic at all and are running DAP like the Lim dynasty.
Lim Kit Siang meanwhile has been controlling DAP for 52 years.
Where is the democracy?
Lim junior and Lim senior should just quit.
LGE and DAP are inconsistent
MCA Youth chief Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said LGE had previously labelled BR1M as dedak but today
they admit that the government’s move to distribute BR1M was the right thing to do.
LGE also planned to bring back fuel subsidies but now he has made a u-turn and said it will only offer subsidised petrol to motorcyles with an engine capacity of less than 1,000 cc.
So LGE is famous for his backtracking, u-turns and flip flopping.
And this is a dangerous character.
DAP and LGE should not manage the country.
Lim Guan Eng is a liability
LGE should quit DAP as he is a liability to the party.
If anything happens to Lim, the party will also be dragged into the mud.
The party’s strength is not based on its party members but based on the Lim dynasty.
So it is best that Lim quit the party for the sake of its members.
Poor support for DAP at its CEC meeting
DAP had its special congress meeting on November 13 but it was clear that support is waning.
Returning officer John Lau said only 50 percent turned up for the congress.
The Central executive committee (CEC) failed to garner the support of DAP members.
DAP Sepang branch chairman A. Thirulalvalavan told the New Straits Times on October 3 that support for
DAP is weakening as they are sick and tired of the Lim Dynasty.
Lim should just quit.
Penang household income has dropped
Under LGE’s leadership, Penang has seen a drop in its monthly household income.
The Statistics Department reported on October 11 that Penang’s household income dropped to RM6,771 below the national average of RM6,958.
Parti Cinta Malaysia deputy president Datuk Huan Chneg Guan said Lim has failed in his duties as Penang
chief minister and somebody else should take over.
