A lot has been said about China investing in Malaysia.
Some accuse Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib of “selling” this country.
This is not true at all.
Let us take a look at why it is not true.
And how China’s friendship will benefit the rakyat.
Why accuse China? Japan invested a lot in Malaysia too.
The opposition has accused Datuk Seri Najib of “selling” Malaysia.
This include land, companies and our sovereignty.
Some of the accusers include Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
This is not true at all.
Most of the Chinese investments are for the betterment of the rakyat.
During Tun Mahathir’s time, Japan invested a lot too
During Tun Mahathir’s time, Japan invested a lot in Malaysia too.
This include the Penang bridge, the Proton car and so many others.
So it is not fair to accuse Datuk Seri Najib of selling the country.
All Datuk Seri Najib is doing is too attract China’s investments.
All this is for the betterment of the rakyat.
If Tun Mahathir can attract investments from Japan.
Why can’t Datuk Seri Najib attract investments from China?
So why the hypocrisy?
So why the hipocrisy?
Why bash Datuk Seri Najib because China is investing in Malaysia.
Japan invested a lot too during Tun Mahathir’s time.
Those who lambast Datuk Seri Najib, should take a look at themselves in the mirror before they criticise Datuk Seri Najib.
China is the world’s second largest economy
Please bear in mind that China is currently the world’s second largest economy after the United States.
China has already overtaken Japan.
So there is no reason for Malaysia not to accept any investments from China.
Malaysia has a lot to lose if it does not work together with China.
China has always been a good friend to Malaysia
China has always been a good friend of Malaysia.
This relationship started ever since the late Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak Hussein visited China in 1972.
So the brickbats hurled at Datuk Seri Najib now does not hold water.
Malaysia and China are best friends and will always remain this way.
KL Beijing collaboration set to rise further
Collaboration between China and Malaysia can increase further.
China Ambassador Bai Tian said on January 30 the partnership can strengthen as China gains more confidence in Malaysia.
Speaking to reporters while visiting Exhange 106 on February 5, Bai Tian said both countries are on a steady upward progression path and the two countries should stick together.
Benefits to the rakyat
China will bring immense investments from Malaysia.
The investments will no doubt provide jobs for the rakyat as well as help make our economy stronger.
So China is a big brother to Malaysia.
And will stay that way to benefit the rakyat.
