He said three teams from Bukit Aman had been sent to the state to question the suspects and witnesses.

Wan Ahmad Najmuddin said police were grateful to the Singapore Police Force (SPF) for assisting in the arrest of seven individuals in the republic.

On the BMW car used in the murder, he said police had yet to recover the vehicle as inspection found the car was carrying a false number plate and the vehicle owner of the original registration number had lodged a police report.

He also confirmed the incident at the petrol station had attracted the attention of the public after the video went viral on social sites, but assured that security in the state was under control.
